Licensed Therapist (Kansas) – Flexible 1099 Role
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, intake evaluations, and diagnostic screenings.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs, goals, and best practices.
Provide psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, or other appropriate interventions.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and professional standards.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
Participate in regular case consultations, supervision, and team meetings.
Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Qualifications
Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Active and unrestricted state license or license-eligible (LPC, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, etc.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and therapeutic communication abilities.
Ability to develop rapport and maintain a nonjudgmental, supportive approach.
Proficiency in documentation and use of electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
