DirectShifts is seeking Tele-Radiologists to join our community. In this role, you will play a crucial role in providing remote diagnostic imaging services to healthcare facilities, ensuring timely and accurate interpretations of medical images, such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.

Preferred states: NV, AZ, IN, OH, FL, NY, CA, TX, IL

Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret diagnostic imaging studies remotely, providing accurate and timely reports to healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with onsite radiology staff to ensure effective communication and optimal patient care
  • Utilize advanced imaging technology and software to analyze medical images and make diagnostic assessments
  • Maintain a high level of proficiency in radiological technology and stay updated on industry advancements and best practices
  • Adhere to quality and regulatory standards to ensure the highest level of patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Provide consultative support to referring physicians, offering insights and recommendations based on imaging findings
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in accordance with healthcare guidelines

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Radiology.
  • Valid medical license in the respective state
  • Proven experience as a radiologist, with a focus on teleradiology preferred.
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
  • Proficiency in using teleradiology platforms and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends
