Full job description
We are hiring a Lead Medication Technician to support our care team and ensure safe, accurate medication administration. This role provides leadership and guidance to care staff while maintaining a professional, welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and document medications per physician orders and state regulations
- Maintain organized and compliant medication carts and records
- Support and mentor care staff, promoting teamwork and accountability
- Greet visitors, answer phones, and assist with daily facility operations
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule with other medication technicians
Qualifications:
- HCA license, CNA, or equivalent
- Nurse Delegation Core and Diabetes certifications
- 1+ year of healthcare or assisted living experience
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
