Scope of Services:
- Substance misuse and abuse assessments for applicants and students.
- Individual counseling, brief interventions, support groups, and case management.
- Development of assessment and treatment plans.
- Crisis intervention and referrals for outside care when required.
- Coordination with the Center Mental Health Consultant, Health & Wellness Director, physicians, counseling staff, and other center personnel.
- Conduct drug testing and maintain chain-of-custody procedures.
- Maintain accurate Student Health Records (SHR) and all required documentation in accordance with HIPAA and Job Corps requirements.
- Conduct substance misuse prevention education for new students and at least three center-wide prevention and education activities annually.
- Attend required meetings, training sessions, webinars, and conference calls.
- Submit required monthly reports and maintain daily sign-in/sign-out logs.
- Comply with all Job Corps policies, infection control procedures, privacy requirements, and applicable Department of Labor guidelines.
Requirements:
- Hold an active, unrestricted substance abuse license or certification meeting the minimum requirements of the State of North Carolina.
- Meet applicable Job Corps Policy and Requirements Handbook (PRH) requirements.
- Be eligible for Department of Labor approval prior to performing services.
- Maintain all required licenses, certifications, and insurance throughout contract performance.
Service Schedule
- Location: Lyndon B. Johnson Job Corps Center, 3170 Wayah Road, Franklin, NC 28734
- Performance Period: August 1, 2026 through July 31, 2027
- Required Schedule:
- Wednesday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Approximately 20 hours per week.
