Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join our imaging team in Las Vegas, NV. This role requires strong technical expertise in breast imaging, attention to detail, and a patient-focused approach. The ideal candidate will be experienced in performing high-quality mammography exams, including 3D mammography, while ensuring patient comfort and accurate diagnostic results.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
- Operate digital and 3D mammography (tomosynthesis) equipment.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning to obtain high-quality images.
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during procedures.
- Review images for quality and ensure compliance with imaging standards.
- Document procedures and patient information accurately.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams for optimal patient care.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent Mammography Technologist experience required.
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required.
- Nevada state license required (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience with 3D mammography/tomosynthesis preferred.
- Strong patient care and positioning skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
