Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team in San Bernadino, CA. This role requires expertise in breast imaging, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will be experienced in performing high-quality mammography exams, including digital mammography and tomosynthesis, while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures with accuracy and care.
Operate digital mammography and tomosynthesis imaging equipment.
Ensure proper patient positioning to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Maintain patient safety, privacy, and comfort during all procedures.
Review images for quality and ensure compliance with imaging standards.
Follow MQSA guidelines and adhere to radiation safety protocols.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams for accurate diagnosis and reporting.

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
ARRT (R)(M) certification with additional Mammography certification required.
State license required.
Must meet MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) requirements, including:
40 hours of initial mammography training
At least 200 mammograms performed in the last 24 months
Completion of 15 continuing education credits every 36 months
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required.
Minimum 1–2 years of mammography experience, including digital mammography and tomosynthesis.
