Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Start: September 3 - November 1 Clinic Address: 891 W. Main St. Dover-Foxcroft ME 04426 Hospital Address: 897 W. Main St. Dover- Foxcroft ME 04426 Location: Mayo Regional Dover - Foxcroft, ME Specialty Requested: Family Practice with OB Schedule: Monday - Friday (every week) 4 fulltime office days and 1 hospital day as needed for deliveries. Closed Saturday and Sundays. Hours: 8A - 5P (8 hours clinical time each day). Call Coverage: 1: 4 rotation for OB and call coverage rotation of 1:4 for newborn care. Reason for need: Current full time FP/OB staff physician is moving out of state. Her last day will be August 30th. The Obstetrics Department consists of two labor & delivery/ recovery (LDR) rooms, one triage room, a Labor tub, three postpartum/gynecological patient rooms, and a newborn nursery. Anesthesia coverage is available 24 hours per day. On average 100 deliveries per year. Mayo Obstetrics works in coordination with Mayo Women’s Health, and Dover-Foxcroft Family Medicine to provide extraordinary care to their patients. Dover-Foxcroft Family Medicine is one of 5 primary care rural health clinics operated by Mayo Regional Hospital Rural Health Clinics. Dover-Foxcroft Family Medicine offers a variety of services including adult physicals, well-child physicals, routine medical visits, chronic illness care, complete obstetrics care, pediatric care, minor skin lesion removals, strep tests and pregnancy tests. Located on the Mayo Regional Hospital campus, the practice has direct access to all hospital outpatient departments, including laboratory and radiology services.
