Medical Director – Remote

We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and oversight for a growing remote healthcare organization. The Medical Director will help ensure high-quality, safe, compliant, and patient-centered care while supporting our clinical team and operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and guidance to healthcare providers.
• Support the development and implementation of clinical protocols, policies, and best practices.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leadership to improve quality of care and patient outcomes.
• Review and provide guidance on complex clinical cases when needed.
• Support provider education, training, and ongoing clinical development.
• Monitor clinical quality, safety, and compliance standards.
• Assist with chart reviews, quality assurance, and clinical audits as needed.
• Stay current with relevant clinical guidelines, healthcare regulations, and industry standards.
• Serve as a clinical resource for providers and leadership.
• Participate in quality improvement and other clinical initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license.
• Board certification in a relevant specialty.
• Active DEA registration, if applicable to the role.
• Current clinical practice experience.
• Prior medical leadership, supervision, or Medical Director experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of telehealth and virtual care preferred.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
