Summary:
We're looking for a phlebotomist who can administer injections such as flu or COVID vaccines to patients in their home or office, in accordance with established standards of care, as well as specific guidance and training provided. Services provided may also include collection of diagnostic specimens (blood, urine, and nasal swabs), measurement of basic vitals (blood pressure, heart rate, height, weight, etc), and administration of Point of Care tests (ie COVID rapid antigen tests). Full training in the administration of all services will be provided during onboarding. We will also provide all specialized equipment required, and all personal protective equipment such as masks, hand sanitizer, gloves, etc.
You will be paid hourly for this engagement, as well as reimbursed for mileage at the IRS approved rate. You will likely have significant free time while you’re on the clock, but will need to be available for the entirety of your shift in the event that last minute appointments are scheduled.
Essential Functions:
-- Drive to and from appointments in patient homes or offices (all mileage will be reimbursed)
-- Administer flu and COVID vaccines
-- Collect vaccines from designated pickup locations and store them properly in temperature controlled equipment we provide
-- Follow safe and accurate specimen collection procedures and processing of specimens, with a high degree of accuracy
-- Drop diagnostic specimens off at patient service centers or laboratories
-- Accurately and reliably measure patient vital signs
-- Use provided mobile app to view patient schedule and locations
-- Engage with patients in a professional and friendly manner
-- Ability to adapt in a rapid high-growth environment
-- Maintain close communication with the operations and patient experience team during business hours

You'll be successful with the following qualifications:
Education:
-- Associate’s Degree: Preferred
Work Experience:
-- At least 1 year of mobile phlebotomy experience: Preferred
-- Experience using a centrifuge: Preferred
Required Licenses/Certifications:
-- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (ie AMT, ASCP, NCCT): Preferred
-- Valid driver’s license: Required
Other:
