Multi - state Telemedicine Physician Consultant | Menopause & Fertility Care

Overview

Our client is a leading global fertility and family-building benefits platform supporting members through fertility, menopause, hormonal, and metabolic health journeys. We are seeking experienced clinicians to join our part-time, fully remote telemedicine contractor network and provide evidence-based virtual care to members across multiple U.S. states. 

Schedule: Flexible, Part-Time (Approximately 5–40 hours/week; target commitment 10–15 hours/week) 

Target Start Date: September 9, 2026 (required training period ahead of go-live)

About the Role

Clinicians will provide virtual consultations in one or more of the following areas: 

Menopause & Perimenopause - Support members through perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause with guideline-aligned care per The Menopause Society and ACOG. 

Early Fertility Support - Guide members who are trying to conceive through initial fertility evaluation, preconception optimization, ovulation support, metabolic health support, and appropriate referral to reproductive specialists, following ACOG and ASRM guidelines.

Metabolic health is a core, cross-cutting component of this program. Weight, insulin resistance, and cardiometabolic risk are central to outcomes across every journey supported — from ovulatory function and preconception readiness to menopausal symptom burden, body composition, and long-term cardiovascular and bone health. 

Clinicians should expect metabolic assessment and management to be a routine part of their visits, and candidates comfortable prescribing and managing anti-obesity medications, including GLP-1 receptor agonists, within clinical protocols are especially encouraged to apply. That said, GLP-1 or obesity medicine experience is not a strict requirement — candidates with deep expertise in either primary clinical area will be considered.

Key responsibilities include:

Direct Telemedicine Care — Provide virtual consultations (video and/or phone) within your area(s) of expertise, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management of menopausal, fertility, and related hormonal and metabolic concerns; apply current clinical guidelines with individualized, shared decision-making.

Care Coordination & Documentation — Diagnose and treat conditions within the telemedicine scope, document visits accurately and timely, order and interpret relevant labs, and coordinate referrals to primary care, OB/GYN, endocrinology, behavioral health, or subspecialists as needed.

Requirements

• Fully remote position with a HIPAA-compliant home workspace
• Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
• Multi-state licensure preferred
• IMLC participation strongly preferred
• Reliable internet and ability to commit to evolving scheduling and coverage needs

Minimum Qualifications

• MD or DO in Obstetrics/Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (REI), Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Endocrinology.
• Minimum 3–5+ years of active clinical experience in early fertility support, menopause care, or both, including evaluation, treatment, and longitudinal management
• For clinicians practicing in the menopause specialty: MSCP certification from The Menopause Society required, or actively in progress with a clear completion plan
• Prior telemedicine experience preferred, with comfort managing visits entirely in a virtual environment
• Familiarity with ACOG, ASRM, and The Menopause Society guidelines
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills, including strong virtual presence and ability to support shared decision-making over video/phone
• Ability to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based virtual care
• Proficiency with telehealth technologies including video platforms, secure messaging, electronic prescribing, and EHR/clinical documentation tools
• Familiarity with HIPAA and applicable telemedicine privacy, security, and regulatory requirements
• Experience prescribing and managing GLP-1 medications is preferred but not required
