Neonatology Nurse Practitioner | GA
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our esteemed neonatal care team in Atlanta, GA. In this critical role, you will provide specialized care to premature and critically ill newborns, ensuring optimal health outcomes and support for families during challenging times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and manage the care of neonates in the NICU, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with neonatologists and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for each infant.
- Provide education and support to families, helping them understand their newborn's condition and treatment options.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, making timely adjustments to care plans based on clinical findings.
- Participate in rounds, case discussions, and team meetings to enhance care delivery and improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.
- Stay current with advancements in neonatal care practices and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Active NP license in the state of Georgia
- 1 to 2 years of neonatology experience (preferred)
- Active DEA
