The Holy Cross Medical Group (HCMG), Holy Cross Hospital and the Phil Smith Neuroscience Institute have an excellent full time employment opportunity for a Fellowship trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Spine Neurosurgery physician to join the team located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The hospital-based, multi-specialty Neuroscience practice specializes in Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Spine and Pain Management. There are 18 physicians and five mid-levels at the practice. Surgical procedures and inpatient care are provided at Holy Cross Hospital. In addition, the selected candidate will have options to establish ambulatory clinics in the on-campus and Coral Springs offices. The spine program has been designated a Blue Distinction Center for Spine by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida for 2020.
The selected candidate will have 50% inpatient and 50% outpatient, with two days in the operating room, two days in clinic and one day that will vary; with 12 hours per shift. Call coverage is 1:3.
Fellowship training is required in Spine Surgery, minimally invasive and/or complex spine.
