Neurology Nurse Practitioner | OH
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Neurology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our esteemed neurology team in Ohio . In this vital role, you will provide specialized care to patients with neurological disorders, helping to diagnose, treat, and manage various conditions while supporting patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments, including patient histories and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage a range of neurological disorders, such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and migraines.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with neurologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including EEGs, MRIs, and other imaging studies.
- Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, ensuring optimal care and outcomes.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and enhance clinical practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.
Qualifications:
- Active NP license in the state of Ohio
- 1 to 2 years of neurology experience (preferred)
- Active DEA
