Job Description:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients requiring surgical intervention for a wide range of neurological conditions, including brain tumors, spinal cord injuries, neurotrauma, and cerebrovascular diseases.
- Perform complex brain and spinal surgeries, utilizing the latest techniques and technologies.
- Manage pre- and post-operative care, including patient education and follow-up.
- Handle emergency neurosurgical situations, including head trauma and stroke.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in neurosurgical techniques and technologies through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
- Valid medical license in Illinois State
- Extensive experience in performing complex brain and spinal surgeries
- Proficiency in the latest neurosurgical techniques and technologies
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in high-stress situations
