NICU - Critical Care RN | $500 Sign on Bonus | CA
Job Description:
Pay Rate - $910 - $1,050/week
(Due to CA state laws; 4 hours of each 12 hour shift is paid 1.5x your hourly rate)
***$500 Sign on Bonus***
- Requires lifting of up to 100 pounds with assistance and carrying of up to 50 pounds
- 3. The work environment may involve exposure to assaultive and combative patients
- Per Diem: Per Diem Nurses are not Regular Positions within the County, and there should be no expectation of continued employment or guaranteed hours. Working as a Per Diem Nurse does not preclude you from applying and competing for Regular nursing positions within the County
Minimum Requirements
Experience: One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience as a licensed registered nurse.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing
- Must possess and maintain current Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Critical Care RNs (Journey Level) must also possess and maintain the following unit specific certifications/courses required to work in the NICU at time of application:
- Neonatal Intensive Care Course
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) Certification
Desired Qualifications
Candidates possessing a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit are desired
