Access TeleCare, a national leader in inpatient and outpatient behavioral health solutions, is seeking Board-Certified Psychiatrists to join our rapidly growing clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inpatient & Unit Consultations: Deliver specialized psychiatric consultations for patients across medical, surgical, ICU, and specialty hospital units.
• Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, including diagnosis and management of mood disorders, delirium, psychosis, substance use disorders, cognitive impairments, and behavioral disturbances.
• Medical Comorbidity Management: Initiate and optimize psychotropic medications with careful attention to complex drug interactions, organ dysfunction, and acute medical illnesses.
• Capacity & Safety Assessments: Evaluate medical decision-making capacity and provide clear clinical documentation; assess and manage suicidal ideation, self-harm risk, acute agitation, and behavioral emergencies.
• Collaborative Leadership: Provide clinical supervision and collaboration for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs).
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Education & Board Certification: MD or DO degree; Board Certified in Psychiatry.
• Licensure: Active medical license in one or more priority states (multi-state licensure is a major plus):
• Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin
• Licensure Assistance: Eligible for additional state medical licenses and hospital credentialing (Access TeleCare covers and facilitates acquiring new state licenses on your behalf).
• Experience: Prior telehealth experience is welcomed but not required.
• Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Shift Schedules & Availability:
1. Daytime & Evening Coverage
• Schedule: Monday – Friday schedule plus two weekend shifts per month.
• Available Shifts:
• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST
• 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Midnight) EST
2. Nocturnal Coverage
• Schedule: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM EST
• Commitment: Minimum of 176 hours per month.
• Priority States for Nocturnists: California, Florida, Kansas, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Texas (combinations preferred).
