Nurse Practitioner (Kansas) – Flexible Schedule
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments, including health histories and physical examinations.
Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, and chronic medical conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging.
Educate patients and families about health management, disease prevention, and treatment options.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
Collaborate with other healthcare providers and support staff to ensure coordinated, quality care.
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.

Qualifications
Education: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Licensure: Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state that they would like to practice in.
Certification: National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), or relevant specialty.
Skills:
Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
Proficiency in EHR systems and basic computer applications.
