St. Barnabas Health System is seeking a full-time OB/GYN physician for faculty practice employment in the Bronx, NY.
SBH is offering competitive compensation and a robust benefits package including a generous 401K plan, health insurance, life insurance, malpractice insurance, great number of vacation days, CME days with stipends, competitive salaries, and additional shifts.
SBH clinicians form a vibrant and cohesive group. They cover the hospital with two physicians every night, holiday, and weekend. On weekdays, a midwife and a physician cover the service. Our practice provides ambulatory care at our flagship site (which will soon move to the Health
and Wellness Center), two associated FQHC sites, two “private style” offices, and a number of non-affiliated freestanding ambulatory sites.
SBH is a unique and forward thinking not-for-profit, non-denominational health system. We are the primary clinical affiliate of CUNY School of Medicine (formerly “Sophie Davis”). St. Barnabas Hospital is 460 bed acute care teaching hospital that provides care for an urban “safety net” population in mid-Bronx. SBH unfailingly receives high patient satisfaction scores, particularly in women’s health services.
Requirements for the position:
• ABOG board-certified or board-eligible
• NY licensed
