Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) - NYC - DirectShifts
DirectShifts is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) to join our team in providing comprehensive women's health care in the dynamic city of New York.
Job Description:
- Provide prenatal care, labor and delivery management, and postpartum care to pregnant women.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of gynecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, infertility, endometriosis, and pelvic floor disorders.
- Perform routine gynecological examinations, including Pap smears and breast exams.
- Offer contraceptive counseling and family planning services.
- Perform gynecological surgeries, including hysterectomies, myomectomies, and laparoscopic procedures (if applicable).
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid medical license in New York State
- Extensive experience in providing obstetric and gynecological care
- Proficiency in performing gynecological procedures (if applicable)
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
