Ophthalmology Opportunity with Established Practice in Sunny Palm Springs, California
Tenet Healthcare and Desert Regional Medical Center are actively seeking an Ophthalmologist to join a stellar private practice in the Palm Springs/Coachella Valley area. Ideally, we would like a candidate that has Retina fellowship training and is interested in seeing a mix of General Ophthalmology and Retina cases.
Join two other Ophthalmologists who have provided the highest quality of care to the patients in Palm Springs and Palm Desert for many years. Due to a large community need and the continued growth of their practice, they are ready to welcome a third Ophthalmologist!

Highlights of the Opportunity:
Full-time opportunity – available starting May 2020
Monday-Friday, regular business hours with occasional Saturdays
Responsibilities include trauma call, outpatient services, and minimal inpatient consults
ED/Trauma call is rotated 1:3
Partnership track available
Desert Regional Medical Center is a 385 licensed bed, Level II Trauma center that has treated 2,569 trauma patients in 2019.
MD or DO
BE/BC with the American Board of Ophthalmology
Retina Fellowship strongly preferred; however, must be willing to see a combination of General Ophthalmology and Retina
Must be comfortable being involved with trauma services
Must be eligible to obtain licensure in the state of California
