Orthopedic Surgeon - NYC - DirectShifts
DirectShifts is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team in providing exceptional musculoskeletal care to patients in the vibrant city of New York.
Job Description:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including fractures, joint injuries, sports injuries, and degenerative diseases.
- Perform surgical procedures, including joint replacements, arthroscopies, and fracture repairs.
- Manage pre- and post-operative care, including patient education and rehabilitation.
- Provide non-surgical treatment options, such as physical therapy and pain management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in orthopedic surgery and techniques through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Valid medical license in New York State
- Extensive experience in performing orthopedic surgeries
- Proficiency in various orthopedic subspecialties (e.g., sports medicine, joint replacements, trauma)
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in high-stress situations
