Job Description:
Recruiting experienced Registered Nurses for the role of Registered Nurse III – Specialty Critical Care
Serves as a Charge Nurse in specialty critical care units, including:
- Medical ICU
- Surgical ICU
- Cardiovascular ICU
- Neonatal ICU
- Emergency Department / Trauma
- Labor & Delivery
- Interventional Radiology
- Cardiac Services
- Operative Services
- Burn Center
- Plans, assigns, directs, and reviews the work of professional and technical staff involved in patient care
- Provides leadership and oversight during assigned shifts at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center
Certifications & Training Requirements
- Must possess and maintain current BLS (Healthcare Provider level)
Additional unit-specific certifications may include:
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring
- Critical Care Course
- Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification
- Neonatal Intensive Care Course
- Operating Room Nursing Course
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of acute hospital experience in a Specialty Critical Care unit, such as:
- ICU
- Emergency Department / Trauma
- Labor & Delivery
- Interventional Radiology
- Cardiac Services
- Operative Services
- Burn Center
