Job Description:

Recruiting experienced Registered Nurses for the role of Registered Nurse III – Specialty Critical Care

Serves as a Charge Nurse in specialty critical care units, including:

  • Medical ICU
  • Surgical ICU
  • Cardiovascular ICU
  • Neonatal ICU
  • Emergency Department / Trauma
  • Labor & Delivery
  • Interventional Radiology
  • Cardiac Services
  • Operative Services
  • Burn Center

  • Plans, assigns, directs, and reviews the work of professional and technical staff involved in patient care
  • Provides leadership and oversight during assigned shifts at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center

Certifications & Training Requirements

  • Must possess and maintain current BLS (Healthcare Provider level)

Additional unit-specific certifications may include:

  • Advanced Fetal Monitoring
  • Critical Care Course
  • Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification
  • Neonatal Intensive Care Course
  • Operating Room Nursing Course

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of acute hospital experience in a Specialty Critical Care unit, such as:
  • ICU
  • Emergency Department / Trauma
  • Labor & Delivery
  • Interventional Radiology
  • Cardiac Services
  • Operative Services
  • Burn Center
