Physician Assistant-Internal Medicine- Regular Part-Time - Day/Eve

Job Description:

PURPOSE OF JOB: Provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients in the primary care office setting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provide patient care in a primary care, outpatient setting.

Able to communicate effectively with providers, patients, nurses and other support staff verbally, in writing and/or via EMR.

Maintain accurate EMR records and documentation.

Provide support to the office clinical staff in regards to patient care and educational needs.

Job Qualifications:

V. QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

If PA:

Bachelor of Science degree in a physical science from an accredited institution required

Current Physician Assistant licensure in Pennsylvania

NCCPA certified

Prescriptive authority determined by supervising physician- (newly hired has 30 days to obtain)

CPR & BLS

If NP:

Masters of Nursing degree from an accredited institution required

Current Pennsylvania licensure required:

Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)

Registered Nurse (RN)

Prescriptive Authority

Board certified NP or board eligible NP

CPR & BLS
