Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our dynamic healthcare team at ExpressDocs Urgent Care. As a Physician Assistant in our urgent care setting, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care, diagnosing and treating a variety of acute medical conditions, and collaborating with our team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and laboratory tests.

Diagnose and treat a variety of acute illnesses and injuries.

Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies.

Provide patient education on preventive healthcare and management of chronic conditions.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Requirements:

Current and valid Physician Assistant (PA-C) license in the state of Florida.

Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

Experience in an urgent care or similar clinical setting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound clinical decisions under pressure.

Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
