Physician Assistants & Nurse Practitioners | Urgent Care Coverage | NYC

We are hiring Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join our client's team for ongoing Urgent Care coverage! We are seeking board-certified candidates with urgent care and/or emergency department experience. 

Multiple locations are available every burroughs.

Responsibilities:

• Performing diagnostic tests such as X-rays, lab work, and EKGs
• Preparing patients for examination by removing clothing, applying drapes or gowns, or cleaning the skin
• Administering medications and treatments as directed by the physician
• Evaluating patients’ symptoms to determine the best course of treatment
• Taking notes during examinations and referring to them while writing up a treatment plan
• Performing physical examinations such as listening to heart and lung sounds, measuring blood pressure, and checking reflexes
• Educating patients about their condition and treatment options
• Diagnosing illnesses and injuries and determining the best course of action for treatment
• Communicating regularly with other healthcare providers, such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, etc. to ensure that all aspects of care are being addressed
