The UTRGV School of Medicine, Department of Surgery, is seeking a qualified Urology Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join a growing Surgery Department and practice. Successful candidates will have demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching and scholarly activity. Responsibilities will include clinical care for urology patients, teaching of medical students and residents. A track record of academic productivity is required, as the candidate will be actively involved in the research and academic mission of the department. Academic rank will be awarded commensurate with experience and credentials. Applicants must be an MD, DO or foreign equivalent, be BC/BE in Urology Surgery, possess or be eligible for a Texas medical license, qualified to hold a faculty appointment in the Department of Surgery UTRGV School of Medicine and appropriate hospital staff appointments.
