Together we share in the goal of developing long-lasting, meaningful relationships with our patients. \* Responsibilities\* You will function as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in diagnosing, managing and treating our patients. You will treat conditions appropriate for outpatient treatment that don’t require significant ancillary/social support such as ADHD, depression, and anxiety. You will have full time assistance to handle administrative and clinical tasks (prior authorizations, scheduling, obtaining outside records, etc.). The role will be performed through in-office interactions as well as over telehealth. *Knowledge / Skill* * Should enjoy practicing independently * Comfortable using an EMR * Compassionate, caring provider who is non-judgemental toward patients with psychiatric needs * Comfortable with medication management of psychiatric conditions * Outstanding interpersonal and problem-resolution skills *Minimum Qualifications* * Masters or doctorate degree from an accredited nursing school * Completion of an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program * At least 2 years of experience as a PMHNP, or will consider 1 year if was 100% outpatient * Active state license and DEA registration *Preferences* * At least 1 year of outpatient experience * PMHNP Board Certification * Interest in performing psychotherapy *The Role* * *Full-time (40 hours per week)* * Market leading compensation and great benefits (PPO medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, HSA/FSA, pet plan) * In-person visits as well as telehealth visits (for follow ups and only when appropriate) will be performed * Monday through Friday work schedule * No weekends and no on-call Ahead provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
