The new physician will be practicing within an inpatient psychiatric setting and must possess the following characteristics: Gritty determination Thrives while working in an intensely demanding and pressure filled environment Comfortable working with multi-cultural staff and patients Strong advocate for patients and their well being The Inpatient Unit at St Joseph Medical Center has 119 beds and currently provides a well-established and strong psychiatric program to patients ranging between the ages of 18 to geriatric. CNL Practice/ Medical Medicine Management 20 patients per day average Monday – Friday, 8-5 work schedule 3 doctors and 1 NP currently on staff Practice is located in the Behavioral Health Center across from main hospital MEDICAL CENTER OVERVIEW St. Joseph's Medical Center, located in downtown Houston, is a general acute care, Level III trauma hospital with over 400 beds. It has 17 main operating rooms, 3 endoscopy suites, 5 women's operating rooms and a 12 bed labor and delivery floor. The hospital offers a full scope of services including: vascular, plastics, bariatric, neurosurgery, orthopedics and pediatrics.
