We are looking for general anesthesiologists, as well as those specializing in cardiac, pediatrics, and/or regional anesthesia.

About the Practice:
Associated Anesthesiologists is a very well established comprehensive anesthesia practice.

We are 23 partner Anesthesiology Physicians and employ 36 FTE CRNAs. We cover all aspects of anesthesia practice except liver transplant, burns, and ICU management.

The new Anesthesiology Physician who would join our practice in Illinois would benefit from the recently restructured environment. We made several positive changes including management and number of facilities covered. Services are provided at a Level 1 Trauma Center, which also houses the largest downstate Children’s Hospital. In addition, we staff a 6 OR outpatient center, a dental clinic, and a plastic surgery clinic. Pain management services are provided by some of the physicians in our group. When supervising, we utilize direct supervision, with 3-4 rooms per physician, and directly provide anesthesia care about 30% of the time for general cases. Subspecialty cases are generally performed by physicians. We have positioned ourselves well to accommodate the recent and expected changes in medical practice with an exclusive long-term contract with the hospital system.

Peoria is a mid-size Midwestern city with a metropolitan area of about 250,000 and a medical draw area of more than a half million. We are located with in 3 hour driving distance to Chicago, St. Louis, and Indianapolis. We offer a very diverse and rewarding practice in a comfortable atmosphere. About the Anesthesiology Job in Peoria, IL:
Our new hire will be on a partnership track, with 1 year to full salary and 2 years to shareholder partnership. All recruits are anticipated to progress to partnership. We will also consider part time or "day doc" employment if requested. First year employees earn 35 paid vacation days and have an extremely favorable benefits package. Our group is extremely equitable, with no compensation structures based on seniority. All Associates are expected to become board certified.

We are hiring multiple physicians over the next 1-2 years. Openings are immediate, but we will consider candidates who are not available until Summer 2022.
