Job Description:
Department: RAD TECH - RAD DIAG (728)
Weeks: 13
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- We are looking for a devoted and skilled Contract Radiologic Technologist.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring quality images.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations, ensuring their comfort.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to obtain required images.
- Monitor patient conditions during procedures, addressing any issues.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and imaging results.
- Adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols.
- Assist in training and mentoring new staff members.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide exceptional patient care and communication throughout procedures.
Qualifications:
- Active Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT certification.
- Previous experience in diagnostic radiology preferred.
- Proficiency in operating radiologic equipment and technology.
- Strong understanding of radiologic principles and patient care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a healthcare setting.
