Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room | Redding, CA
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team in Redding, CA. This role requires strong clinical expertise in acute surgical care, advanced technical skills, and the ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure operating room environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with complex cardiovascular procedures and robotic-assisted surgeries, contributing to safe and high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiovascular and complex surgical procedures in the operating room.
- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for CVOR procedures.
- Support surgical teams during robotic-assisted surgeries, including DaVinci XI systems.
- Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process and respond to clinical changes.
- Ensure adherence to infection control, safety standards, and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of surgical care and patient status.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state (preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Previous acute care hospital experience required.
- Minimum 3 years of CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience.
- Experience with DaVinci XI robotic surgical systems preferred.
