Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cath Lab team in Lynwood, CA. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures, requiring strong clinical judgment, technical expertise, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate is experienced in cardiac care and committed to delivering safe, patient-centered outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Monitor and assess patients’ cardiac status before, during, and after procedures.
- Operate and interpret invasive cardiac monitoring and hemodynamic equipment.
- Maintain a sterile environment and ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
- Respond effectively to cardiac emergencies and complications.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
- Provide patient education and post-procedure care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience in a hospital setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (American Heart Association required).
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and electrophysiology.
- Experience with invasive cardiac monitoring and hemodynamics.
