Registered Nurse | Emergency Room | Chicago | IL

We are currently seeking an Emergency Room Nurse to join our nursing team and our growing hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

Occupation: Registered Nurse 

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 12 hours shift

Weekly schedule: 3 

Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for handling triage, performing phlebotomy work, point of care testing, and associated administrative tasks. The ER nurse will also collaborate with ER doctors on discharge plans and create outpatient instructions for each patient that is not admitted to the hospital.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Valid Illinois nursing license
• BLS & ACLS certification required
• 2+ years’ experience in an emergency medical facility
• Strong ability to work well on a team
• Exceptional communication skills
• TNCC certification is preferred, but not required
• Meditech experience preferred but not required
• Willing to work night shifts
