Registered Nurse - ICU | Inglewood, CA
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. This role involves providing high-quality, specialized care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, quick decision-making abilities, and the capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary critical care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to critically ill ICU patients.
- Continuously assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
- Administer medications, therapies, and critical care interventions as ordered.
- Operate and manage advanced life-support and monitoring equipment.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to implement care plans.
- Ensure accurate documentation using EPIC EMR systems.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment and care updates when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of one year experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, preferably in critical care.
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred.
- COVID vaccination and boosters preferred.
- EPIC EMR experience required.
