Registered Nurse - ICU | Redding, CA
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. This role involves providing advanced, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to life-threatening situations while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to critically ill patients, including continuous monitoring and assessment.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
- Operate and manage advanced life-support equipment and monitoring devices.
- Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care processes.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, preferably in critical care.
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred.
