Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care and indirect supervision to patients aged 18 and older
- Lead and manage patient care during assigned shift, including supervision and delegation to LVNs, CNAs, and PCAs
- Apply the nursing process effectively to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Uphold established professional nursing standards and practice guidelines
- Facilitate collaboration among healthcare teams—physicians, therapists, and ancillary services—to ensure cohesive patient care delivery
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Must have moderate-high ICU skill level
