Job Description:

Provides age specific care for patients using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.

Responsibilities:

Assess the patient’s physiologic & psychological health status.
Develops criteria for measurement of patient outcomes and also identifies actual/potential patient problems.
Formulates the plan of care and establishes the priorities necessary to achieve the expected outcome.
Administers medications correctly and safely.

Requirements:

Two years of Maternal and child experience required.
Primary Source Verification - required.
IV Certification, NRP , Conscious sedation certification - preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, preferred.
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
