Job Description:

  • Join our dedicated team as a Telemetry Nurse in the Med/Oncology department in Atlantis, Florida.
  • As a Telemetry Nurse in the Med/Oncology Department, you will be a crucial member, monitoring and providing specialized care to patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Continuous monitoring and interpretation of cardiac telemetry data for Med/Oncology patients.
  • Providing comprehensive nursing care, focusing on the well-being and comfort of Med/Oncology patients.
  • Thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions and responses to treatments.
  • Collaborating closely with the healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, and documenting observations, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues regarding care plans and progress.
  • Prompt response to medical emergencies, initiating appropriate interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of the NCLEX-RN (National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses).
  • Valid Florida RN license.

Skills:

  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently during the night shift in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
