Job Description:

• As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Telemetry department at our Med Surg Ortho/4th Fl unit in Tamarac, FL, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care. 
• The Telemetry RN is responsible for monitoring and interpreting the vital signs of patients with heart conditions and other medical conditions. 
• This role involves close collaboration with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, recognizing and reporting any abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide compassionate and comprehensive patient care, maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.

Requirements:

• Current and valid RN license in the state of Florida.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
• Previous experience in Telemetry or a related department is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to make sound clinical judgments.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a degree in Nursing (ASN or BSN).
• Proven experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in Telemetry or a related field.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
