We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments, develop plans of care, and implement and evaluate care.
- Formulate and revise care plans based on patient response and treatment effectiveness.
- Consult and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs and goals.
- Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to non-licensed staff in accordance with standards of practice.
- Provide pre- and post-operative patient care.
- Educate patients and families on care and treatments.
- Facilitate discharge plans in collaboration with the care team.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN). Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Education: Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- License and Certifications: Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
