A Chicago-based hospital is actively seeking Registered Nurses with Medical-Surgical experience in Chicago, Illinois.

Physical Setting: Acute care, Inpatient

Standard Shift: Day shift, Night shift

Supplemental Schedule: On-call, Overtime

Employment Type: Contract 13 weeks (Can be extended)

Weekly Schedule:

• 3x12
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends

Roles and Responsibilities

• Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum
• Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing
• Minimum 1-year experience in MedSurg required
• Registered Nurse with current State of Illinois licensure
• BLS, ACLS
• Maintains current CPR certification
