Job Description

A facility in Saratoga, NY is looking for a Medical Surgical (MS) Registered Nurse (RN).Responsible for prescribing, delegating and coordinating all nursing care as defined by The New York State Nursing Practice Act.  

Responsibilities :

Assesses patient’s physical, social and behavioral, mental status through direct observation, interview, and medical record review.

Documents nursing assessment, identify the symptoms, manage various disease entities and administers medicines

Requirements for Medical surgical

• Minimum 2 years of experience and current New York State license required.
•  Must have Basic Life Support (BLS). Guaranteed Hours will be 36hrs.
• Travel experience preferred
• Annual CORE, Annual Core II, RN Pharmacology, Specialty Checklist, Specialty Exam
• Licenses: Nursys, RN License Search, RN License Verification, RN Registration
• Medical Records: 2nd Step PPD, COVID-19 Medical Exemption, COVID-19 Prescreening, COVID-19 Religious Exemption, COVID-19 Vaccine, Drug Screen, Fit Test,

• Licenses: Nursys, RN License Search, RN License Verification, RN Registration
• Medical Records: 2nd Step PPD, COVID-19 Medical Exemption, COVID-19 Prescreening, COVID-19 Vaccine, Drug Screen, Fit Test, Fit Test - 3M 1860 N95, Flu Vaccine,

• Licenses: Nursys, RN License Search, RN License Verification, RN Registration

Requirements for Psychiatric RN:

• Experience Notes: A facility in Saratoga, NY is looking for a Psych Nurse with minimum of 2-3 years experience on inpatient mental health unit. Travel experience 
• Preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) and De-Escalation training. No on call. 36 hours guaranteed.
• Certifications: BLS, BLS Instructor, Crisis Prevention Intervention, De-Escalation
• Exams: Annual CORE, Annual Core II, RN Pharmacology, Specialty Checklist, Specialty Exam
• Licenses: Nursys, RN License Search, RN License Verification, RN Registration
