Job Description:

  • Currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Telemetry Unit located in Aventura, Florida.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and providing specialized care to patients requiring telemetry services.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data.
  • Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patient's medical conditions and responses to treatments.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting observations, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and colleagues regarding patient care plans and progress.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.

Skills:

  • Proficient in interpreting cardiac telemetry data.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring equipment and technology.
