Registered Nurse - Operating Room / Surgery | Lynwood, CA
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Operating Room / Surgical team. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to perform in high-pressure environments, and close collaboration with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will be confident in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical setting, with a strong background in cardiac-related procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and surgical staff during operating room procedures.
- Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Provide specialized support during cardiac-related surgical cases.
- Respond promptly to intraoperative changes and emergencies.
- Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum 1–2 years of Operating Room or surgical nursing experience.
- Cardiac experience required.
