Remote Urgent Care Physician (MD/DO) | Cold & Flu Season Coverage
We are actively seeking Board-Certified Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine Physicians to support increased patient demand during the upcoming cold and flu season. This is a fully remote opportunity with flexible scheduling and the ability to provide care to patients nationwide through a leading telehealth platform.
Responsibilities
- Provide virtual urgent care services to patients of all ages.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat common acute and chronic conditions via video visits.
- Prescribe medications, order laboratory testing, and coordinate referrals as clinically appropriate.
- Document encounters in Athena EMR.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Provide clinical oversight and support to Nurse Practitioners in accordance with applicable state regulations.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
- Board Certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics.
- Minimum 3 years of post-residency experience in Urgent Care, Primary Care, or Emergency Medicine.
- Active and unrestricted U.S. medical license.
- Comfortable treating pediatric and adult patients.
- Active Medicare enrollment required.
- Prior telemedicine experience preferred.
Preferred
- Multiple state licenses
- Previous telemedicine experience
- Experience supervising Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants
