Responsibilities:
- Utilize the Nursing process to plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with all other disciplines on the assigned unit to provide holistic patient care.
- Organize and implement group activities in conjunction with the unit program and other staff.
- Establish and foster collegial relationships with peers and other disciplines, promoting an environment sensitive to cultural diversity.
- Demonstrate therapeutic and physical skills required in crisis intervention.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Active NYS RN License with Behavioral Health Experience.
- PMCS Certification required.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing.
- Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
