- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on a Telemetry unit.
- Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in condition.
- Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and administer treatments and medications.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality of care throughout the shift.

Responsibilities:
- Performs comprehensive nursing assessments and documents patient condition and response to treatment.
- Monitors cardiac rhythms, vital signs, laboratory results, and other clinical indicators.
- Identifies changes in patient condition and promptly communicates concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members.
- Develops, implements, reviews, and revises individualized plans of care based on patient needs and condition.
- Administers medications and treatments safely and accurately according to physician orders and hospital policies.
- Prioritizes nursing interventions based on patient acuity and clinical needs.
- Collaborates with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Provides patient and family education regarding medications, treatments, disease processes, and discharge instructions.
- Accurately documents nursing care and patient information in the electronic medical record.
- Participates in discharge planning and coordinates appropriate referrals to promote continuity of care.
- Maintains patient safety and follows infection-control, hospital, and nursing standards.
- Shares knowledge and acts as a professional resource to other members of the healthcare team.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- ACLS, BLS, Active California RN License, Basic Dysrythmia & Management of Assaultive Behavio (MAB)
- Minimum 1 year of Telemetry, Med-Surg/Telemetry, or comparable acute-care RN experience
- Strong cardiac monitoring and patient assessment skills.
- Excellent critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
