BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physicians (Locums)

Job Type: Locum Tenens

Shifts: 12+ shifts per month, both days and nights, including weekends

Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Position Overview:

As a BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician at Roseland Community Hospital, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality emergency medical care to our patients. You will be the sole provider on duty during your shifts, supported by one Physician Assistant. Responsibilities:

• Provide timely and effective emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions and injuries.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.
• Adhere to established clinical protocols, guidelines, and best practices to maintain quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to provide education, support, and guidance.

Requirements:

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
• Active Illinois Medical License.
• DEA Registration.
• ACLS, PALS, and BLS Certifications.
• Excellent clinical skills, including proficiency in emergency procedures and trauma care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
