Supervising Physician – Aesthetics(Remote)
About the Role
A growing Nurse Practitioner-led Aesthetic & Wellness Clinic in Florida is seeking a licensed Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon to serve as its Supervising Physician / Medical Director.
This is a primarily non-clinical, remote role focused on regulatory oversight, compliance, protocol supervision, and supporting aesthetic and wellness services provided by Nurse Practitioners.
The clinic specializes in aesthetic injectables, laser treatments, hormone optimization, peptides, and medical weight loss services.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Supervising Physician / Medical Director in accordance with Florida regulations
- Provide physician oversight for aesthetic and wellness services including injectables, laser procedures, hormone therapy, peptides, and medical weight loss
- Review and approve clinical protocols, standing orders, policies, and treatment guidelines
- Support regulatory compliance, credentialing, and quality assurance initiatives
- Be available for periodic consultation and collaboration with the clinical team
- Ensure clinic operations align with state and professional standards
- Provide oversight documentation as required for compliance and malpractice purposes
What This Role Does Not Involve
- No direct patient care required
- No on-site clinic responsibilities
- No daily operational management
- No fixed clinic hours
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Florida MD or DO license
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Dermatology or Plastic Surgery
- Experience or familiarity with aesthetic medicine preferred
- Prior experience as a Medical Director, Supervising Physician, or collaborating physician is a plus
- Understanding of NP supervision and Florida aesthetic practice regulations preferred
