Supervising Physician (Remote)
About the Role
A Nurse Practitioner-led clinic, is seeking a licensed physician to serve as a Supervising Physician / Medical Director.
This is a non-clinical, remote position focused on compliance, regulatory oversight, and supporting clinic operations no direct patient care required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physician supervision in accordance with Florida regulations
- Serve as Medical Director for compliance and credentialing purposes
- Support insurance credentialing requirements (as needed)
- Review and sign off on clinical protocols, documentation, and policies
- Provide oversight for aesthetic services (e.g., Botox) as required
- Be available for periodic consultation (minimal time commitment)
- Ensure clinic operations align with regulatory standards
What This Role Is NOT
- No direct patient care
- No on-site requirement
- No day-to-day clinic management
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Florida MD/DO license
- Board-certified or board-eligible (preferred)
- Background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Practice
- Prior supervisory or medical director experience is a plus
- Familiarity with NP supervision and/or aesthetic medicine regulations preferred
